Q/ As an instructor running my own club, why would I want this?

A/ Most instructors already teach physical technique well, but many students still struggle with hesitation when faced with a real situation. The Switch is designed to complement existing training, not replace it, giving students a practical understanding of mindset, adrenaline, and controlled aggression, helping them apply their skills with more confidence and focus under pressure.

The goal is not to undermine instructors, it’s to strengthen what they already teach.

Q/ I already have a black belt. Why would I need this?

A/ You may have the ability to defend yourself, but without mental focus that ability can be neutralised. Knowing how to fight in a dojo or ring is not always the same as functioning under real pressure in the street. The Switch focuses on helping you act when adrenaline takes over.

Q/ Is becoming violent really the answer?

A/ No. It’s not about becoming violent. It’s about being able to act when violence is forced upon you instead of freezing. Controlled aggression is sometimes necessary to survive, but this is not about losing control or “red mist” It’s about focused action to escape.

Q/ Can I really access it when it matters?

A/ Yes. I’ve used it for real, which is why I teach it. Fear and adrenaline can shut people down, I know because I’ve experienced it many times myself. Your Switch gives you a prompt to move and act instead of hesitating.
